I decided to go to the location a few hours before the wedding to scout out the area. Find good backgrounds, figure the lighting, stuff like that. The couple wanted to use this huge, beautiful banyan tree so the pattern of the light was beautiful.

They loved the idea of having a beachy wedding and so they wanted their photos to reflect that. So palm trees, sepia tones, and sunsets were the golden trio.

LQ Shoot http://eyeofthecameraii.kimdeister.com/Photography/?p=1 http://eyeofthecameraii.kimdeister.com/Photography/?p=1#respond Thu, 06 Jun 2019 00:19:26 +0000 http://eyeofthecameraii.kimdeister.com/Photography/?p=1 This shoot was new for me because I had never really done a lot of men in my photos. I had only previously done women, so it was a learning curve. I wanted to capture his masculine energy, so I had him do most of the shoot shirtless. My model LQ had never modeled before, so I had to make sure he was comfortable the whole time. For this shoot I had to pay great attention to the natural lighting, he is darker so I needed brighter light and backgrounds that were plain to make him the center focus.
